Supply and Delivery of 1,200 Bicycles to 15 Selected Districts of Uganda under the Food Security and Nutrition Project (FSNP).

Objectives 

To improve access to education for vulnerable and underserved learners in Uganda by providing assembled and branded bicycles with spare parts, thereby reducing barriers related to long travel distances to school.

Results :

  1. 1,850 fully assembled and branded bicycles with spare parts supplied and delivered to selected educational institutions across Uganda.
  2. Up to 1,850 students (with a minimum of 60% girls) benefit directly from improved transportation to and from school.
  3. Attendance rates increase by at least 30% in beneficiary schools within six months of distribution.
  4. Basic bicycle maintenance training delivered to at least 30 school representatives and selected students to ensure long-term usability.
